- Production Area: Municipality of Veronella East of Verona.
- Grapes: 80% Merlot 20% Cabernet Sauvignon.
- Denomination: Rosso Veneto, I.G.T
- Vinification: maceration of the grapes for 10/15 days at controlled temperature. Next “Ripasso” on the pomace of Nero d’Arcole (80% Merlot 20% Cabernet Sauvignon) for about 20 days.
- Aging: about 4 months in large oak Slavonian barrel (1740/3500 Gallons). Settlement in steel tank before bottling and refining in bottles for about 3 months.
- Color: intense and deep ruby red.
- Nose: fruity with notes of cherry and soft ripe plum, enveloping scent of spices, notes of currant and blackberry
- Taste: full-bodied and rich, offers a body that originates power and fragrance. The visciola and plum envelop the oak with their majesty of extract, notes of fruit are perfectly combined with spicy wood.
- Food pairings: Recommended with roasted meat, game meat and mature spicy cheeses.
- Alcohol Content: 14.0 % by vol.
- Serving Temperature: 64-68° F.
