  • Grape Varieties: 100% Primitivo.
  • Denomination: Puglia Rosso I.G.T.
  • Vinification: the grapes are subjected to a cold pre-fermentation maceration lasting 4/6 days. The alcoholic fermentation process follows at a controlled temperature at a maximum of 75°F, for 10-14 days.
  • Color: wine has a deep red color with purple hues.
  • Nose: elegant with hints of undergrowth and Mediterranean scrub, dried sour cherries, sweet spices and caramel at the end.
  • Taste: the palate lively, full, soft and warm flavor; balanced by light notes of raspberries, dried plums and currants, with an enveloping finish that lasts long in the mouth.
  • Food Pairing: grilled meats, first courses with beef ragù or grilled porcini mushrooms; also excellent with semi-hard cheeses, cold cuts.
  • Alcohol Content: 13.5% by volume.
  • Serving Temperature: 64-68 °F
