Nebbiolo d’Alba

A wine that manifests its agreeability during its youth and is also suitable for good aging, acquiring complexity.

  • Production Area: Piedmont, La Morra.
  • Grape variety: 100% Nebbiolo. Average age of grapes 40 years.
  • Denomination: Nebbiolo d’Alba D.O.C.
  • Vinification: destemming-crushing, maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 77-79° F  for 10-12 days with daily pumping over of the must, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
  • Aging: in large casks of different capacities.
  • Color: garnet red.
  • Nose: notes of roses, violets, blackberries and red currants;
  • Taste: excellent balance between acidity and tannins.
  • Food Pairing: ideal with red meat and medium or mature cheeses. Perfect also with homemade pasta and risotto.
  • Alcohol content: 13.5%
  • Serving temperature: 60-65°F
