  • Production Area: Piedmont, La Morra.
  • Grape variety: 100% nebbiolo. Average age of grapes 40 years.
  • Denomination: Barolo D.O.C.G.
  • Vinification: destemming-crushing, maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 77-79° F 50-60 days with daily pumping over of the must, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
  • Aging: in large casks of different capacities, 30 months.
  • Color: garnet red.
  • Nose: Colour: garnet red.
  • Nose: violet, rose and cherry fragrances that evolve into a pleasant balsamic note as well as a hay hint.
  • Taste: pleasingly dry and full thanks to its excellent balance between the acidity and the noble tannins of the nebbiolo.
  • Food Pairing: red meats, game, braised meats, aged cheeses.
  • Alcohol content: 14.5% by vol.
  • Serving temperature: 60-65°F
