Barolo

Wine that manifests its agreeability during its youth and also suitable for a good aging, acquiring complexity with time.

  • Production Area: Piedmont, La Morra and Barolo.
  • Grape variety: 100% nebbiolo.
  • Denomination: Barolo D.O.C.G.
  • Vinification: destemming-crushing, maceration in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 77-79° F,  20-30 days with daily pumping over of the must, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation.
  • Aging: 30 months in large casks of different capacities.
  • Color: garnet red.
  • Nose: hints of cherry, rose and violet.
  • Taste: excellent balance between acidity and tannins.
  • Food Pairing: red meats, game, braised meats, aged cheeses.
  • Alcohol Content: 14.5%
