Rosso di Montalcino

A full-bodied wine with soft and silky tannins, with  an intense ruby red color and explosive aromas, the finish is long and persistent, with an acidity that gives the wine an excellent inner freshness.

  • Vinification: fermentation in stainless steel at a low and controlled temperature, 9-month aging in large 50 Hl Slavonia oak barrels, aging in a bottle 3 months

  • Color: intense ruby red.
  • Nose: Intense, persistent, fine, flowery, fruity.
  • Taste: full-bodied, soft and silky tannins, dry, warm, quite fresh, tannic, sapid, ripe red fruits and fresh roses.
  • Food Pairing: Tuscan entrées, white and red meats, cold cuts, game, braised meats, roasts, aged cheeses.
  • Alcohol Content: 14.5% by vol.
  • Serving Temperature: 64-68 °F.
