  • Production area: Veneto, the Berici hills, on the hillsides in Alonte municipality.
  • Grape Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon 100%

  • Vinification: after the harvest in the second half of October the bunches are totally de-stemmed and the grapes fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel vats, at 75°F for 8 days.
  • Aging: the wine is aged in glass lined concrete vats for few months.
  • Color: medium ruby red.
  • Nose: it evokes the essence of the wild, with nuances of underbrush and herbal intricacies; expresses black fruits like blackberries, blueberries and plum and a hint of incense and mint.
  • Taste: unveiling the allure of balsamic undertones intertwined with the rich essence of marasca. The palate is dry, with firm tannins, quite intense, with a good finish of black fruit and mint notes.
  • Food pairings: grilled meat, sausages, ravioli pasta.
  • Serving temperature: 64-68° F
  • Alcohol content: 12.5% by vol.
