Prosecco Rosé

A sparkling cuvée made from Glera and Pinot Nero grapes. Soft powder pink color.

  • Production Area: Prosecco
  • Soil type: Mix of limestone and clay.
  • Grape: Glera 90% Pinot noir 10%.
  • Denomination: Extra dry Millesimato D.O.C.
  • Harvest period: Second half of August – beginning of September.
  • Vinification: Glera off the skins, Pinot Noir fermented briefly on the skins. In stainless steel tanks at thermostatically controlled temperature of 18°C-64.4F°; fermentation for 10-15 days after, using the Martinotti Charmat method, in autoclave for 3 months to produce a beautiful perlage.
  • Nose: elegant floral aromas of rose petal and small red fruits berries like wild strawberries.
  • Taste: On the palate it is enveloping and delicate, fresh and sapid, and a persistent, long-lasting bead of fine-grained pinpoint bubbles.
  • Food Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif but can also be combined with the whole meal, especially with seafood.
  • Serving temperature: 4-6°C/42.8-46.4°F
