Denomination: Moscato cru “La Punta”
Production Area: Langhe, Piedmont
Grape: 100% Moscato
Vinification: The grapes are pressed softly to help extract the aromas from the skins into the juice, which is then separated from the lees by natural settling. The fermentation at a low temperature is interrupted by chilling until the sugars have been partially transformed into alcohol, at around 4.5%. It is then filtered and, taking special care not to lose the natural CO2.
Alcohol Content: 5.5%
Color: Straw yellow with greenish highlights, bright with a creamy mousse.
Nose: Fine, delicate bouquet of flowers and fruit, showing hawthorn, wild flowers and citrus fruit.
Taste: Light and sweet, with fresh and very fine acidity, and a slightly bitterish finish.
Food Paring: Cream cakes, vanilla and biscuits of all kinds. All flavours of Ice-cream.
