Duca di Saragnano Wines
The colour is a vivid red which develops a slight brick-red rim during its aging. The ethereal bouquet, reveals notes of mature red fruits and hints of violet together with pungent spices like peppercorn. The texture is a perfect balance between fruit, soft tannins and freshness that make it an ideal companion to roasts, game and seasoned cheese.

Vinification method: Fermentation at controlled temperature for 6-8 days in stainless steel vats. Post fermentation maceration lasting 4-6 days. Malolactic in stainless steel vats.
Aging: 18 months in stainless steel vats 6 months in french oak barrels and 3 months in bottle.
Alcohol content: 13% alcohol by volume
Color: Nice soft garnet red, with terracotta hues.
Nose: Fruit notes of cherry, plum, raspberry, with hints of tobacco and leather at the end.
Taste: Full, generous, harmonious and velvety, with dark fruits hints, and notes of tobacco. Well balanced between fruit and acidity.
Food paring: Italian dishes, meat sauce, grilled beef, lamb, wild game and aged cheeses.
