Production Area: S. Cristina a Mezzana Carmignano Tuscany.
Grape variety: 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Canaiolo Nero.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature.The maceration lasts from 7 to 10 days with accurate remontages and delestages.
Aging: Refined for 12 to 16 months parts in french oak barrels, parts in Slavonian oak tonneaux. 3 months bottle aging before release.
Alcohol Content: 14% alcohol by volume.
Color: Deep black cherry with black reflections cherry rim.
Nose: Fresh, fairly rich, with smoky red berry fruit supported by greenish vegetal accents, some spice and musk hints.
Taste: Good structure and good acidity, cherry fruit supported by smooth tannins it presents a long and persistent finish.
Food pairing: Very best when combined with cold cuts, easoned cheese, spicy first courses perfect wirh grilled meats.
