Duca di Saragnano Wines
Made from Sangiovese grapes, this elegant wine has an intense garnet red color with powerful aromas of forest berries, spices and licorice on the nose. Thanks to it’s well integrated tannins on the palate it pairs with most classic dishes – roasted game, red meats and seasoned cheese. To enjoy at its best, decant before drinking and serve at between 18 and 20 degrees centigrade in generous-sized wine glasses.

Vinification method: Fermentation at controlled temperature for 6-8 days in stainless steel vats. Post fermentation maceration lasting 4-6 days. Malolactic in stainless steel vats.
Aging: 24 months in Slavonian oak barrels, 4 months in bottle.
Alcohol content: 14% by volume
Color: Intense ruby red with garnet reflections.
Nose: Ethereal bouquet with hints of berries intense, persistent, fine, fruity, flowery. Aroma of ripe red fruits with notes of liquorice and peppercorn.
Taste: Dry, warm, soft, sapid, well balanced body, intense, persistent. The palate is dry and slightly tannic, harmonious, full character.
Food paring: Wild bore, game, roasted meats, steak “Fiorentina”, truffle fondue, well seasoned cheeses.
